MEETING FORMAT KEY
The following explains the Meeting Format abbreviations given in Group listings.

123Steps 1, 2, and 3. Focus on the first three of the Twelve Steps of S.L.A.A.
AFAnorexia Focus. Focusing on the three forms of Anorexia in S.L.A.A.: Sexual, Social and Emotional.
BSBook Study. Study of the S.L.A.A. Basic Text or other Conference-Approved Literature.
CCChild Care is Available.
CMClosed Meeting. This means only those who identify or who think they might identify with sex and love addiction may attend.
GCGetting Current. A time for members to share what's going on in their personal recovery.
HAHandicapped Accessible Location.
HOWH.O.W. Meeting Format. Stands for Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness. This is a format in use by some groups, though it is not specifially affiliated with S.L.A.A.
HRHealthy Relationships. Focusing on the issues that surround being in recovery from sex and love addiction while also maintaining healthy relationships with spouses, partners, family, and friends.
LGBTLesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender. Members may discuss issues surrounding gender preference.
LGBTFLesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Friends. Members may discuss issues surrounding gender preference and this meeting welcomes friends of the LGBT community.
MAMultiple Addictions. Members may discuss sex and love addiction in relation to other addictions.
MOMen Only.
MWMen and Women Welcome.
NCNewcomers. A meeting or segment set aside specifically for welcoming newcomers to the program.
NFNo Fragrances. Those in S.L.A.A. recovery can be affected by scents that remind them of past addictive behavior.
OMOpen Meeting. This means anyone may attend, whether or not they have a problem with sex and love addiction.
PCPeople of Color. Focusing on issues specific to those of African American, Hispanic, and/or Asian heritage.
PRPrison. This is a meeting that is held in a Correctional Facility.
SSpeaker. A member shares their story of recovery in S.L.A.A.
SCRScreened. Those who wish to attend are asked to first contact the group. This is done to protect member privacy and anonymity and/or for safety reasons.
SSStep Study. Focusing on the study of the Twelve Steps of S.L.A.A.
TDTopic Discussion. A recovery topic is chosen by the Group.
TSTradition Study. Focus on the study of the Twelve Traditions of S.L.A.A.
VFVaried Format. Format changes on a schedule determined by the Group.
WOWomen Only.
