Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (S.L.A.A.) is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition-based fellowship for individuals seeking recovery from sex and love addiction. Our primary purpose is to carry the message of recovery from compulsive sexual and/or emotional dysfunction. Many of these individuals are under some form of court supervision.

People who identify as sex and love addicts often describe feeling powerless to stop high-risk or boundary-violating behaviors even when they fully understand the potential legal and personal consequences. Others engage in secretive online activity, compulsive pornography use, or serial relationships that place them in situations where they are more likely to violate curfews, no-contact orders, or other conditions. Without a framework for ongoing accountability and support, these patterns can undermine the best-designed supervision plans.
As Narcotics Anonymous does for individuals with substance misuse issues, S.L.A.A. offers a program of recovery that emphasizes daily sobriety from harmful sexual or emotional activities. We encourage regular attendance at meetings, sponsorship, and working the Twelve Steps. The fellowship provides structure, tools, and resources that support public safety and rehabilitation goals.
Meetings are available in many communities, online, and via telephone. This is helpful for individuals with transportation barriers, travel restrictions, or device restrictions.
